Career Workshop

Date: Thursday, 18 November, 2021 starting at 17:45
Venue: Radisson Blu Hotel Basel, Steinentorstrasse 25, 4051 Basel

SST Career Workshop:
Why should I consider a career as a toxicologist, what would I do, where could I work, and how do I best prepare? All these questions will be answered in our workshop on Career as a Toxicologist.

The workshop is designed to support students, PhD students and postdocs of natural sciences in advancing on their career path. Public concern about human and environmental health issues related to chemicals is increasing and it is the role of toxicologists to support their safe and sustainable use.

The Workshop is led by 3 seasoned toxicologists with diverse career paths: Lothar Aicher, Christine Lorez, and Lisa Fischer. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to discuss their individual questions with the experts.

Please note: this event is an on-site event at the Radisson Blu Hotel, there will be no online stream available!

Registration:
The workshop is without additional charge for attendees of the SST Annual Meeting 2021. Registration, however, is mandatory since the number of participants is limited. Please use the button below for registration.
